The hotel is ideally located in the heart of a bustling district with plenty of attractions nearby. Guests can easily walk to the popular church, which is a main tourist attraction. Additionally, the hotel offers spacious and nicely furnished rooms, with comfortable beds and a good shower. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making the check-in process a pleasant experience.

our stay was upgraded with the hotel's fantastic proximity to very nice landmarks like Hallgrimskirkja just a 5-minute walk away and the National Museum of Iceland about 15 minutes on foot, making our city explorations effortless and enjoyable.

The breakfast was amazing, the check in was easy. Our room was fantastic and new-fashioned with comfy beds and toiletries, for instance, just what we needed. The stuff, everyone, was helpful. The setting was fantastic, just next door to many good coffee shops, the town/shopping area, and local restaurants close by as well as the bus stop for excursions right outside.

The location couldn't be better, right off the busy pedestrian street. The modern rooms had everything we needed, and the staff was super helpful, even suggesting great dining spots. Don't miss out on the nearby swimming pool for a local soak instead of just the usual Blue Lagoon tourist spot!

There was a lack of blackout curtains in our room was great. It's something future guests should be aware of.

Most expensive hotel - except Georges V in Paris. No fridge, no bar, no kettle, no hairdryer, etc., etc. ALL the hotels I stayed in above between 4-16 Nov 2014 had more facilities than Hotel 101. All included breakfast, etc. Hoel 101 ws recommended to me by my son's friend... who did not then stay there for my son's wedding.

The design hotels experience was unique with a modern art vibe. Plus, the staff were amazing-always helpful and friendly. Breakfast was simple, but just enough to start the day.

Location is excellent, walking distance of the main shopping street. The rooms decoration very stylish, all in black and white. Big bath tub in the middle of the room. Nice room for breakfast, with glass ceiling.

Toilets in the room, just closed by a glass door. No room for toiletries. Very design but not convenient. The view on the other rooms and the glass ceiling of the restaurant.

Quirky and fairly clean hotel with exceptionally nice staff and great views over the park across the road. Fashionable, welcoming rooms with a safe, a mini-bar, and a work desk. Extremely comfy bed, easy check-in. Incredible location near the bus stop in a wonderful area...

Strongly recommend for a city escape

Comfortable rooms, relaxing atmosphere, the lounge was great with a glass of wine after exploring the vibrant streets, while the staff proved to be friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
